Sign out of your shift
One tap when you clock off. It asks how the shift went, then takes you where you want to go — vent, laugh, talk to someone, or nothing at all.
Reminders timed to your shift
A check-in fifteen minutes before you start and a sign-out fifteen minutes after you finish, answerable from the lock screen. Night shifts included.
Anonymous means anonymous
Confessions have no author column in the database. Not hidden — absent. There is nothing to leak, subpoena, or show by accident.

See how your specialty and your state are doing. Aggregates only appear once at least five people have contributed, so nobody is identifiable in a number.

Common questions
Who is ShiftSignOut for?
ShiftSignOut is only for healthcare professionals whose credential has been verified. That includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, allied health and technicians, and healthcare students on a supervised account. Patients, press, recruiters and vendors are not admitted.
How does verification work?
Most credentials clear automatically against a public registry such as the NPI registry or a state license board. The rest are reviewed by a person, usually within 48 hours, against a photograph of a work badge or student ID. You can look around while you wait.
Is ShiftSignOut free?
Yes. There are no ads, no subscription, and no selling of member data.
Can I use it without installing the app?
Yes. There is a full web version in your browser at the Sign in link, with the same account as the iOS app.
Can patients or recruiters join?
No. Every account must present a healthcare credential that can be checked, so there is no route in for patients, press, recruiters or vendors.
Is it safe to discuss cases?
ShiftSignOut is not a HIPAA-covered service and is not for patient information. It is for professional discussion between colleagues. Do not post anything that could identify a patient, including in anonymous areas.
